David Beatty has a strong background in behavioral health and substance abuse services, currently serving as a Behavioral Health Case Manager for the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi since January 2018. Prior to this role, David Beatty founded Addiction Relief & Supporter Recovery, Inc., where comprehensive substance abuse services were provided from October 2002 to October 2015. Additionally, David Beatty co-founded Freedom Recovery Center, focusing on medically assisted treatment for opioid-dependent individuals from March 2013 to June 2014. The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi is a federally recognized Tribal government with more than 1,600 enrolled Tribal Members. The NHBP main offices are located at the Pine Creek Indian Reservation near Athens, Michigan, with additional offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While NHBP seeks to improve the lives of their Tribal Members, NHBP also looks for ways to improve the lives of those around the NHBP Community. There are many events, programs and activities for NHBP Tribal Members, staff and Community members to attend throughout the year. The unity that NHBP purposely focuses on is meant to create a more diverse, accepting and caring culture.
