Sarah Retzlaff

Sarah Retzlaff has extensive experience in sport and leisure management, currently serving as the Interim Joint Head of Service - Sport and Leisure at Nottingham City Council since March 2004. With a career spanning over three decades, Sarah has effectively managed multiple leisure facilities, operational teams, and community projects while focusing on budget management and commercial income generation. Previous roles include Sport & Leisure Manager, Sport & Leisure Development Manager, and Principal Sports Development Manager at various councils, where Sarah demonstrated strategic leadership, community engagement, and successful outcomes in project management and service development. Sarah holds a Chartered Management Institute Level 6 Certificate in Management and Leadership and has completed relevant education in teaching English and leisure management.
