Kevin Fear has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Headmaster at Nottingham High School since September 2000, where previously held the position of Deputy Head. Prior to this role, Kevin Fear worked at The King's School Chester from September 1986 to July 2000, taking on responsibilities as Head of History and in charge of the Football 1st XI. Kevin Fear's educational background includes attending Douai School from 1970 to 1981, followed by the University of Southampton from 1982 to 1985, where a BA in History was obtained.

Nottingham High School is an independent day school situated about a mile north of Nottingham city centre, with over a thousand pupils from ages 4 to 18. We are made up of a Senior School and Sixth Form, the adjoining Nottingham High Junior School and Lovell House Infant School. Founded in 1513, the school has a rich heritage with a proud and passionate community of alumni spread around the world. We are a co-educational school and have been welcoming girls into all year groups since September 2015.
