Matthew Trowbridge is a skilled Hardware Design Engineer with extensive experience in system-level hardware design, schematic development, and PCB layout. Currently employed at Nottingham Spirk since April 2022, Matthew engages in cross-disciplinary design reviews and collaborates closely with software and firmware teams. Prior roles include hardware development at Embedded Planet, where Matthew integrated IoT features and oversaw projects from design to production, and electrical design engineering at Ohio Lumex Co., Inc., focusing on high-speed circuit design and embedded systems. Matthew’s earlier experience also includes product development at Volk Optical Inc. and an R&D co-op at Pepperl+Fuchs, enhancing both product R&D profiles and operational efficiency. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Akron.
