Tess May

Tess May is an experienced education and employment consultant currently working at Nottinghamshire County Council since November 2024. Previously, Tess held various roles, including Work Coach at Groundwork, Employment Specialist at Futures for You, and Community Volunteer at Citizens Advice. With a strong background in tutoring English and ESOL, Tess has also served as an Education Specialist at Fresh Start In Education Ltd, where engagement of disengaged students with special educational needs was emphasized. Additional experience includes teaching English at Yds Academy, supporting students as a Pastoral Associate at Wolsingham School and Community College, and providing care as a Social Care Worker at Creative Support. Tess earned a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Photographic Practice from the University for the Creative Arts and studied at Bell International College, Cambridge.
