Paul Skuse has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to the present. Paul started their career at St. Christopher's School in Bristol, where they worked as a Support Worker before progressing to the roles of Team Leader and Deputy House Manager. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Head of Department and Registered Manager at St. Christopher's School, where they managed a redevelopment project and developed policies for the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
In 2015, Paul joined Treloar's as the Head of Department & Registered Manager for Gauvain House. During their tenure, they played a key role in leading a team that achieved an Outstanding rating from the CQC in 2017. Paul was responsible for overseeing the care of 25 students with complex clinical needs and implementing cultural and process changes within the staff team. Additionally, they served as a Programme Manager at Treloar's, where they managed trust-wide projects, including a staff tracking system and a platform upgrade for eMAR2.
Currently, Paul holds the position of Head of Data & Analytics at Nourish Care. Paul specializes in delivering analytics solutions using Power BI and SQL, working with groups to understand their requirements. Paul also provides project management support for some of the largest groups in the UK, ensuring the end-to-end delivery of Nourish.
Paul Skuse obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Lancaster University between 1999 and 2002. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB), Level 4 Certified trainer for Management of Actual and Potential Aggression (MAPA) behavioral support, Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children's Social Care, Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Registered Manager's Award), and Level 3 - Health and Social Care for Children.
