Julie Christensen, RD, LD is a Registered Dietitian with extensive experience in nutritional counseling and program facilitation for chronic disease management. Currently serving as a Registered Dietitian at Nourish since March 2023 and as a Diabetes Prevention Program Registered Dietitian LifeStyle Coach at Fruit Street since January 2021, Julie leads groups focused on diabetes prevention and lifestyle changes through a CDC-approved program using telehealth tools. With a background in clinical nutrition, Julie has held positions at Hendricks Regional Health and the Community Health Network, where responsibilities included comprehensive nutrition assessments and personalized nutrition education. Additionally, Julie is the Founder of the gluten-free food blog themarchingapron.com and has prior experience in bariatric nutrition and clinical dietetics at St. Francis Medical Center. Julie holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Dietetics/Dietitian, Fitness & Health, and Psychology from Purdue University.
