Daan van Leeuwen

Daan van Leeuwen serves as the Global Financial Controller for Procurement at Nouryon since April 2022, having previously held roles within the company as a Site Controller for the MAE & DME plant in Rotterdam and a Controller overseeing turnaround cost control for Dimethylether. Prior to rejoining Nouryon, Daan worked as a Controller at Nobian, focusing on plant and Capex control. Earlier experience includes positions as a Capex Controller and Assistant Controller at AkzoNobel, a Business Controller at illycaffè S.p.A., and an Assistent-student in the energy sector at ACM. Daan's foundation in the industry began with consulting at Mosqcon Safety & Quality and internships at Fortis Bank Hamburg and the Port of Rotterdam. Daan holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and additional qualifications in ISO auditing.
