John M Rowland has extensive experience in product chemistry and analysis, currently serving as Vice President at Nouryon since January 2016, where previous roles included Director of R&D Product Chemistry and Analysis, and Director of RDI Surface Chemistry for both Americas and EMEIA. Prior to Nouryon, John M Rowland worked at AkzoNobel from April 2011 to April 2024, holding positions such as Director of RDI EMEIA and Business Development Manager, as well as Team Leader for R&D Chelates. John M Rowland's earlier experience at AkzoNobel, from 2002 to 2011, included roles as Principal Research Chemist for Asphalt Applications and Senior Research Chemist in Surfactant Synthesis. John M Rowland earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
