Maria Balaban is an experienced logistics and supply chain professional with a strong background in managing road and rail logistics, people safety, and HSSE performance across various industries. Currently serving as Logistics Manager for Road & Rail Nordics at Nouryon since October 2018, Maria has previously held positions including People Safety Specialist at AkzoNobel and Senior T&S HSSE/RS Advisor at Shell, where responsibilities included implementing HSSE procedures, stakeholder management, and improving assurance processes. With a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management from the State University - Higher School of Economics, Maria has also played significant roles in SAP implementation and additive replenishment management across Central Eastern Europe, demonstrating expertise in logistics optimization and compliance.
