Marina Udier-Blagovic

Marina Udier-Blagovic has had an extensive and diverse work experience. Marina is currently a Board Director at Celyad Oncology, beginning their role in December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Nouscom AG, starting in 2016, where they held multiple positions, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Nouscom is a cancer vaccine company focused on developing patient-specific immuno-therapies. Marina also served as a Board Director at Keires AG from 2016 to 2020.

Before these roles, Marina was an Operating Principal at Versant Ventures from 2015 to 2016. Marina also worked at Novartis, starting in 2009, and held various global leadership positions, such as Global Commercial Head, Global Brand Director, and Global Program Diagnostics Director. Marina's work at Novartis primarily involved neurodegeneration, psychiatry, and oncology.

Earlier in their career, Marina was a Professional Development Manager at McKinsey & Company from 2007 to 2009 and an Associate/Engagement Manager from 2004 to 2007. Marina was also a finalist in the Kauffman Fellows Program from 2008 to 2009.

Marina's work experience began as a Research Assistant at Yale University from 2001 to 2004.

Marina Udier-Blagovic started their education at MIOC from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Gymnasium degree in Math and Natural Sciences. Marina then attended the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu from 1994 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Marina continued their studies at Yale University, completing their Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from 1999 to 2000. Subsequently, at Yale University from 2000 to 2004, they pursued their PhD in Organic Chemistry with a focus on Structure-Based Drug Design.
