Alwin Fahrer

Alwin Fahrer has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Alwin began their career at British Gas in 1997 as a Senior Engineer, where they focused on assessing and developing new pipeline materials. One of their innovations was patented in 2000. Alwin then joined Pipelife in 2000 as a Technical Manager, where they worked on developing a new high-pressure coilable pipe product. In 2002, Fahrer moved to Future Pipe Industries as a Product Development Manager, responsible for developing high-performance composite products for the industrial and oil & gas sectors. Alwin later became the General Manager of the engineering division, managing a team of 25 engineers, scientists, and technicians. Since 2012, Fahrer has been with National Oilwell Varco. Alwin started as the Director of QA/QC for the Eastern Hemisphere, ensuring consistent product quality and implementing unified quality systems. Alwin then became the General Manager of Operations and is currently the Vice President of Operations for the Middle East.

Alwin Fahrer completed their education history as follows:

- From 1981 to 1989, they attended Linge College, where they did not receive a degree or specify a field of study.

- Alwin then pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Twente from 1989 to 1994, earning a Bachelor's degree (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering.
