Dan DeBrosse

Dan DeBrosse is an experienced Research and Product Development Engineer currently working as a Senior Algorithm Engineer at NOV, where they develop and refine drilling simulation software algorithms for the ReedHycalog drill bit product line. Previously, Dan held several engineering roles, including Mechanical Engineer for the eVolve drilling dynamics and NOV M/D Totco product lines, where they focused on mechanical design, data analysis, and the development of data analysis tools. They also gained experience as a Design Engineer at Maveneer, optimizing processes and equipment for distribution and warehousing operations. Dan's engineering background is supported by a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Dan began their career as a Wright Scholar Engineering Intern at the Air Force Research Laboratory, contributing to R&D in magnetic materials and turbine emissions diagnostics.
