John Cope has extensive experience in engineering and technical support, beginning with military service in the Royal Navy from December 1979 to September 1986, where specialization in Auxiliary Machinery was achieved on HMS Phoebe and HMS Active along with various land bases. Following this, John Cope worked at Expro North Sea Ltd from May 1986 to February 1996, focusing on the maintenance and operation of Wireline equipment. John's career continued at ASEP UK LTD as Technical Manager from February 1996 to February 2009, managing rental fleet operations and specialized equipment designs. From February 2009 to September 2019, John Cope served as Senior Technical Support Engineer at NOV, providing aftercare and support for NOV Elmar equipment. Currently, John Cope holds the position of Global Support Manager at National Oilwell Varco since September 2019.
