John Slaton

John Slaton is an experienced manufacturing engineer with a diverse background in process engineering and product development, encompassing over 40 years in the industry. Currently serving at National Oilwell Varco since December 2014, John has previously held engineering roles at Hunting Energy Services, Systronix Inc., Celestica Arden Hills, Autotronic Controls Corporation, Boeing, North American Philips, and Sylvania. Expertise includes programming automated machinery, overseeing PCB production processes, driving scrap reduction through Six Sigma methodologies, and managing quality assurance teams. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from The University of Texas at El Paso and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Process from the University of Phoenix.
