Rune Nilsen

Rune Nilsen is a seasoned professional with a Master of Science in Computer Technology from the University of Stavanger, acquired in 1992. With extensive experience at NOV since August 1992, Rune has served in various roles, including Subject Matter Expert and Technical Advisor, providing 24/7 online support for oil rigs globally. Responsibilities have included technical project management for drilling control systems, integration of engineering processes, and the establishment of departments for offshore drilling control systems. Additionally, Rune worked as a Technical Advisor for Vår Energi, focusing on the planning and execution of drilling upgrades for the Ringhorne platform.
