Scott Blaylock is currently the Engineering Manager at National Oilwell Varco, where they manage the internal drilling laboratory and oversee testing operations. They have been with National Oilwell Varco since 2008, starting as a Design Engineer focused on new product development for roller cone drill bits. Prior to that, Scott worked as a Design Engineer at Atlas Copco, specializing in roller cone bits for open pit blast hole mining applications. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2006.
