Zhigang Sun

Zhigang Sun currently serves as the Electrical Engineering Manager at National Oilwell Varco, a position held since May 2008, where responsibilities include leading hardware design for Phased Array Ultrasonic and Electromagnetic circuits in Non-Destructive Testing equipment. Zhigang possesses extensive experience in high-speed analog and digital circuit design, FPGA programming and design, digital signal processing, and embedded firmware development across various platforms. Prior roles include Hardware Engineer positions at Zedi and National Oilwell Varco, focusing on gas flow meter design and digital signal processing, and an earlier role at Fujitsu Network Communications involving ASIC design and verification. Zhigang holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University and has contributed to research in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Houston.
