Evangelos Papadopoulos

Evangelos Papadopoulos has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Evangelos is currently serving as the Head of Video Services at Nova, where they oversee the technical teams running the OTT platform, Headend, and Pay TV CPEs. Prior to this role, they worked at WIND Hellas, where they held the positions of TV, Services & Security Senior Manager and Network Services Operations Senior Manager. In these roles, they managed network engineering and operations teams, focusing on IP TV, services, network security, and value-added services. Before joining WIND Hellas, Evangelos worked at Vodafone Greece, where they held various managerial positions including Fixed Access & Service Assurance Manager, Core Network Operations Manager, Radio Systems & Service Assurance Ops Manager, and Core Network Management Supervisor. Evangelos also has experience in performance group leadership and system engineering. Evangelos began their career at Panafon as a Network Management Center Engineer. Overall, their work experience spans over two decades and includes responsibilities in network operations, maintenance, incident management, testing, implementation, and administration of various network elements and services.

Evangelos Papadopoulos completed their Bachelor's Degree in Physics with Electronics at the University of Birmingham from 1992 to 1995. Evangelos then pursued an MSC in Physics of Laser Communications at the University of Essex during 1995-1996. In 2009, they attended the Alba Graduate Business School and obtained a Diploma in Executive Diploma in Management Studies in collaboration with Vodafone, which lasted until 2011.
