Michael Maximilian co-founded and served as the CEO of We Are Nova AI®, an AI Video editing software as a service (SaaS) company, from July 2016 to the present. This role involves accelerating video editing, analysis, and production through innovative technology.

Michael Maximilian is currently an Angel Investor at Gazoom starting from May 2021.

Prior to these roles, they co-founded and served as the CEO of Drinkz LLC. from February 2014 to September 2016. Drinkz is a mobile app that allows users to order and pay at high-end bars, nightclubs, and coffee shops globally.

Before venturing into the technology sector, they worked at HP Fondsmæglerselskab A/S from July 2013 to April 2016. Michael Maximilian began as an Operations Officer, responsible for optimizing the company's resources within administration and capital management. Michael Maximilian later became an Assistant Portfolio Manager, managing portfolios for institutional clients and handling trading, risk management, and performance evaluation. Finally, they worked as a Portfolio Manager, providing investment advisory services to pension funds, unit trusts, and larger private clients.

In addition, Moss co-founded Sharf Gruppen, a personal care product company based in Ningbo, China. Michael Maximilian was involved in designing and producing the products and handling their import to Europe for sales through local retailers from January 2006 to November 2007.

Michael Maximilian Moss has a diverse education history. In 2008, they began their studies at Copenhagen Business School, where they pursued a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management Science (Cand.merc.mat). This program lasted until 2010. Following this, in 2016, they attended the Accelerator Academy, focusing on Business Acceleration. In the same year, they also enrolled in the CFA Institute, where they pursued a degree in Economy and Finance. At the institute, they became a CFA, Level 2 Candidate. In 2019, Michael attended the Startupbootcamp Media, completing an Accelerator program in Business.
