Dumitru Chihai

Dumitru Chihai is a mechanical designer with extensive experience in various roles within the engineering and automotive industries. Currently employed at Nova Bus since May 2017, Dumitru has transitioned from mechanical assembler to mechanical designer. Previous experience includes working as a mechanical drafter at SFK LeBlanc and a comprehensive hands-on education in Computer Aided Design, where Dumitru developed expertise in 3D modeling, technical drawing, and manufacturing processes. Prior professional roles include serving as a sales consultant at Campbell & Cameron Volkswagen and a technical consultant at DAAC Hermes, where Dumitru demonstrated strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Dumitru holds a Bachelor's Degree from Universitatea Tehnică a Moldovei, complemented by additional training at Marie Victorin College and Rosemount Technology Center.
