Roman Rešek has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Roman started their career in 1992 as an IT System Engineer at Sava d.d. and worked there until 2000. Roman then joined Triglav Insurance Company Ltd. as an IT System Engineer until September 2000. Roman then returned to Sava d.d. and held the position of IT Infrastructure Manager from September 2001 to January 2012. In between, they also worked as a Head of Systems Administration at Četrta pot, d.o.o. From 2012 to 2014, they served as the Director of IT Solutions at FMC d.o.o. Later, they joined Zavarovalnica Triglav, d.d. where they first held the role of Head of Central System and Databases Department from November 2014 to October 2022, and then took on the position of Director of IT User Support from September 2022 to April 2023. Currently, Roman is the Director of User Support and IT Operations at Nova KBM d.d.
Roman Rešek attended Gimnazija Kranj from 1983 to 1987. Roman then went on to study at the University of Ljubljana from 1988 to 1993, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Informatics.
