Alex Freedland

Alex Freedland is a prominent technology entrepreneur with extensive experience in the cloud computing and telecommunications sectors. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Mirantis since 2011, Alex has driven the company to become a leader in cloud solutions, focusing on OpenStack and Kubernetes, while scaling its customer base globally and raising significant funding. In addition to Mirantis, Alex serves in various advisory and executive roles, including as an Advisor at Session AI, Strategy Advisor at Nova Labs, and former Chief Financial Officer at FreedomFi. Alex's previous ventures include leadership roles at ETERNYZE AG, Ventra GO!, and the OpenStack Foundation. With a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor's in Applied Math from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Alex is recognized for strategic leadership and innovation in technology.
