Burt W. Dubow

Dr. Burt Dubow founded Insight Eye Care, a 3-office, 5-doctor, 35+ staff private practice in central Minnesota. Insight Eye Care has been recognized as one of the top 100 practices in the US.

Dr. Dubow is a member of the Minnesota and American Optometric Associations, from whom he has received many awards for leadership and service. He is a charter member and past national chairperson of the AOA’s Contact Lens and Cornea Section. He’s also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and a Distinguished Practitioner in the National Academies of Practice.

Dr. Dubow was the founding editor-in-chief of EyeQuest Magazine and helped create and run the EyeQuest Conference. He also created and ran the OptoEast and OptoWest Conferences. He founded the Optometric Assistant and Technician Program (OPAT), a training and certification program for optometric staff.

Dr. Dubow is a published author in numerous optometric journals such as the Journal of American Optometric Association, Contact Lens Forum, Optometric Management, Optometry Today, 20/20 Magazine, and Contact Lens Spectrum.

Dr. Dubow has also been an international lecturer (US, Canada, Mexico, Colombia) and has participated in many FDA clinical studies of new contact lenses and contact lens care solutions. He has been a consultant to most of the major companies in the ophthalmic industry including Johnson & Johnson, Bausch + Lomb, CIBA Vision, CooperVision, Essilor of America, Allergan, Menicon, Marco Technologies, BluTech, and Optos.

He is currently the chief science officer of Nova Oculus Partners.
