Peter Gachobe Kihara

Peter Gachobe Kihara is an experienced education professional currently serving as a part-time Learning Designer in Chemistry and Integrated Science at Nova Pioneer since May 2017. Kihara has held various roles, including Associate Dean of Instruction and Learning, Senior Associate in Learning Design, and Math/Science Coordinator, focusing on curriculum development, instructional leadership, and teacher development. As the founder and CEO of Academic Medics since January 2021, Kihara provides quality tutoring in physical, chemical, and biological sciences. Prior professional experience includes positions as a Production & Quality Control Engineer at Quality Bitumen Products Limited, M-I SWACO PROACT Field Engineer at Schlumberger, and Research Scientist Intern at Del Monte Fresh Produce. Kihara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry from Kenyatta University, an Advanced Diploma in Technical Teacher Education from Kenya Technical Trainers College, and a recent Certificate of Completion in Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry.
