Amira Tawashy

Occupational Therapist at Nova Scotia Health Authority

Amira Tawashy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in clinical instruction and occupational therapy. Since September 2012, Amira has served as a Clinical Instructor and Assistant Swim Coach at Dalhousie University and has been an Occupational Therapist with Nova Scotia Health Authority since October 2012. Amira previously worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at The University of British Columbia from May 2005 to September 2009, leading five significant knowledge translation initiatives focused on best practices in spinal cord injury and stroke rehabilitation. Amira holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University and a Master's degree in Science from The University of British Columbia.
