Andrew Munroe, MN, RN has extensive experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Andrew started their career as a Registered Nurse and Graduate Nurse at Nova Scotia Health Authority in 2013. Andrew then worked as a Registered Nurse Clinical Leader at Northwoodcare Inc. in 2016. Andrew also has experience in quality improvement and safety, serving as the Quality Improvement & Safety Leader at Nova Scotia Health Authority from 2021 to 2023. Andrew was also a Teaching Assistant at Dalhousie University from 2018 to 2022. Prior to their healthcare roles, Andrew worked in customer service and sales as a Sales Consultant at Bell from 2007 to 2009, and again from 2010 to 2011, and as a Supervisor at Subway from 2011 to 2013.

Andrew Munroe has a strong education background in nursing. Andrew completed their Master of Nursing degree at Dalhousie University from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, Andrew earned their Bachelor of Science Nursing (BScN) degree from the same university, graduating in 2013. Andrew obtained their high school diploma from Sir John A Macdonald High School from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Andrew has pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in nursing. Andrew completed a Leadership Training Program through Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) in April 2023. Andrew also completed the Simulation Leader Interprofessional Instructor Course offered by SimEd Network in February 2019. Furthermore, they gained expertise in critical care nursing by completing the Critical Care Nursing Program at the Registered Nurses Professional Development Center in November 2015.
