Barb Baker

Barb Baker has extensive experience in health policy and strategic planning, currently serving as Strategic Initiatives Lead at Nova Scotia Health Authority since 2011. Previous roles include Manager of Policy & Planning in Continuing Care, Project Manager focused on System Performance, and Senior Policy Analyst at the NS Department of Labour and Advanced Education. Barb has held positions at various organizations, including NSCC and Health Association Nova Scotia, with a background in project management and policy analysis. As the Owner and Principal Consultant of Age Matters Consulting, Barb provided planning and development services in the health and social service sectors. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree from Mount Saint Vincent University, a Community College Education Diploma from Nova Scotia Community College, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Acadia University.
