Cristian Arias

Cristian Arias is a seasoned professional in supply chain management with a strong background in strategic leadership and operational design. Currently serving as the Transformation and Sustainability Manager at Nova Scotia Health Authority, Cristian focuses on enhancing operational projects, analytics, and risk management. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Flow Specialist at Mercado Libre, where Cristian contributed to the establishment of planning tools for Mexico's e-commerce warehouses, and as Founder of Dolce Casola, a homemade dessert delivery business. Cristian also held significant positions at Nike, leading distribution planning strategies and overseeing operations, and served as Lean Leader at GE, implementing process improvements based on Lean Manufacturing principles. Cristian holds a Master of Business Administration from Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara.
