Devon Steele

Devon Steele has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as a Finance Officer for the Government of Canada since January 2019. Concurrently, Devon holds the position of Accounts Receivable Clerk at Nova Scotia Health Authority and Accountant at W P Construction Ltd. since September 2017 and January 2016, respectively. Devon's diverse background also includes a role as a Combat Engineer in the Canadian Forces since February 2007, where expertise in explosives, tactical communications, and leadership has been developed. Prior experience includes working as an Accounting Clerk for the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board from March 2015 to October 2017. Devon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Cape Breton University (2011-2014) and has a trade qualification as a Metal Fabricator from Nova Scotia Community College (2008-2009).
