Tammy Volkes

Tammy Volkes has extensive experience in the mental health and addictions field, currently serving as a Rehabilitation Worker II at Nova Scotia Health Authority since May 2001, where responsibilities include fostering employment and social opportunities for individuals facing mental health challenges, although currently on medical leave. Prior to this role, Tammy worked from January 2001 to December 2005 as a Residential Counsellor at the Society for Treatment of Autism, providing support for youths and adults with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders. Tammy holds a diploma in Psychosocial Rehabilitation from Nova Scotia Community College, obtained between January 1998 and September 2000.
