Jason Nickerson

Jason Nickerson is a skilled cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles within the field of information technology. Currently serving as a Cybersecurity Solution Architect at Nova Scotia Power since February 2014, Jason has also held the position of Intermediate Business Systems Analyst. Prior to this, Jason worked at BlackBerry from September 2008 to January 2014, where responsibilities included serving as an Analyst for DART and supporting the BlackBerry Enterprise Server as a Server Associate. Jason's earlier career included roles as an IT Consultant at Keane Canada Inc from August 2005 to September 2008 and as a Tech Lead at Convergys/Microsoft from September 2001 to August 2005. Jason's educational background includes a degree in Computer Information Systems with a focus on Networking and IT from Nova Scotia Community College, completed between 1999 and 2001, and attendance at Cobequid Educational Centre from 1993 to 1997.
