Karynne Munroe is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Manager of Regulatory Affairs and Manager of Emerging Technology & Funding at Nova Scotia Power since August 2022. Prior to this, Karynne spent over a decade at EfficiencyOne, holding various roles including Regulatory Analyst and Program Manager for Heating System Rebates, where responsibilities included tracking energy savings, analyzing data, and managing budgets for energy efficiency programs. Karynne also acted as Project Manager for demand reduction pilots and the Residential Direct Install Service, utilizing best practices and collaborating with external partners to achieve energy savings targets. Karynne's career began with foundational roles in energy advisory and executive support, alongside an educational background in Economics from Saint Mary's University.
