Lauren Boutilier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Lauren began their career as an Engineer In Training/Coop Student at Neill and Gunter, where they gained valuable engineering experience. Lauren then joined Suncor Energy as a Project Engineer, providing support to a Commissioning & Start Up team. Lauren later joined Energy Instrumentation Sales Inc as a Sales and Project Engineer, overseeing the implementation of power monitoring projects. Lauren then transitioned to NSCC as a Database Developer Research Assistant, where they designed and managed energy databases for various research projects. Currently, Lauren is employed at Nova Scotia Power, where they have held several roles including Solution Developer, Application Specialist, Smart Meter Solution Specialist, and currently serves as the Meter Data Lead. In their current role, Lauren is responsible for overseeing meter data operations.
Lauren Boutilier obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, where they studied from 1999 to 2004.
