Maria Franco

Maria Franco has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Maria began their career as an Accountant at Tyco SimplexGrinnell in 1997 before transitioning into Compensation Analyst roles at Tyco - ADT Security Services, The Sports Authority, and AutoNation. In 2002, they became a Human Resources Generalist at Geosyntec Consultants. Maria joined HR Compensation Consultants, LLC in 2011 as an Associate Consultant before moving to Nova Southeastern University where they held various positions including Compensation Analyst, IT Resource Manager, and Director of IT Budget, Contracts & Capital. Maria holds an MBA and has certifications as CSPO, CSM, LSSBB, PHR, and CCP.

Maria Franco holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Florida Atlantic University and pursued Masters level HR Management and Labor Relations coursework from the New York Institute of Technology. Maria also completed senior-level classes in International Business from Universidad de Sevilla. Furthermore, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Nova Southeastern University.

In addition to their education, Maria has obtained several certifications. These include the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in 2020, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification in 2016, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification in 2015, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from SHRM in 2011, and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification from WorldatWork in 2001. Maria has also obtained certifications in Leading Remote Projects and Virtual Teams as well as Agile Product Owner Role: Foundations from LinkedIn in 2021.
