Adam Smith

Adam Smith is an experienced professional in the fields of defence, security, and federal government, currently serving as the Director of Australia and New Zealand Business at Maxar Technologies since May 2024. Smith has held the position of Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand at Nova Systems since June 2019, while also leading Nova Digital Solutions as Chief Executive. Smith’s prior contributions include board membership with the ACT Defence Industry Advisory Board and serving as Chair for the ACT Space Sector Development Committee. With a history of leadership as CEO of Geoplex and various business development roles at AAM Pty Ltd, ESRI Australia, and BAE Systems, Smith possesses a robust background backed by education from The Australian National University.
