Cristhyne León

Cristhyne León, PhD, serves as Head of Scientific Support and Project Manager at Nova In Silico since November 2021, specializing in disease modeling within Model Informed Drug Development (MIDD) and quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) research. Previously, Cristhyne conducted research as a PhD candidate at Université de Rennes 1 from October 2018 to September 2021, focusing on applying recurrent neural networks for disease diagnosis and age estimation in infants. In an academic role at StandOut Institute from September 2016 to October 2018, Cristhyne directed standardized test preparation courses, managing tutor recruitment and training. Earlier experience includes an R&D internship at C-way from September 2017 to January 2018, working on communication protocols for smart connected devices. Cristhyne holds a PhD in Biomedical and Health Informatics from Université de Rennes I and an Engineer's degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
