Novakid is an award-winning online ESL learning platform for young learners that offers both individual lessons and international group speaking practice. Novakid’s mission is to build a global community of young English learners designed to encourage deep and meaningful friendships across different cultures.

Kids learn efficiently through full language immersion and fun games and activities, mastering English for academic and career success. Novakid complements school learning by giving kids a safe place for real-life English speaking practice, and the methodology is based on learning games - representing the new generation of online learning.

To date, Novakid has taught over 800,000 students in more than 50 countries.

In September 2024, Novakid acquired Lingumi, the UK-based EFL app that creates AI-assisted, interactive lessons for learners aged 2-6 years. Novakid Junior is a free app for children aged 2-6 that combines AI-driven tools, self-paced learning apps, and live, online practice with native English teachers. This environment is enhanced with age-appropriate gaming features, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience. By allowing learners to access quality English learning for free and from as early as 2 years old, Novakid is widening access for many more children around the world.

Novakid is a Series B EdTech startup ($41,5M raise) with double-digit revenue growth in 2023. The business is funded by well-known venture-capital firms Owl Ventures and Goodwater Capital, PortfoLion, LearnStart, Xploration Capital, Bon Angels, Leta Capital, TMT Investments, all of which support innovation businesses globally.
