Jim Li has extensive work experience in software engineering and project leadership. Jim currently works at Nova Ltd. as a Software Engineering Tech Lead, where they are responsible for developing materials metrology software for wafer inspection in the semiconductor industry. Their role also involves software/hardware controller communications and Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS). Prior to this, Jim worked at Hexagon Metrology as a Project Leader, Software Development. In this role, they handled the life cycle management of a tube inspection/communication software, including software design, architecture layout, programming, and testing. Jim utilized various programming techniques such as C/C++, MFC, C#, and WPF.
Jim Li has a Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine.
