Bernie Washington serves as the Senior Vice President and System Chief of Staff to the CEO at Novant Health since November 2016, having held various leadership roles within the organization, including Vice President of Strategy & Operations for Digital Products & Services and Senior Director of both Strategy & Operations and Deputy Chief of Staff to the CEO. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of the Charlotte Hornets Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility from August 2013 to November 2016, as well as roles in community relations for Novant Health and the Carolina Panthers. Bernie Washington holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an MBA from Pfeiffer University, along with a Certificate in Health Care Economics from Harvard Business School Online.
