Gerben Smit

Gerben Smit is currently the CEO at Novar, a company that develops, builds, owns, and operates large scale ground mounted and rooftop solar projects. Before this role, Gerben was a Partner at GREENSOLVER and PLY Energy. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director at KDE Energy Europe. With a background in audit and accounting from Ernst & Young, Gerben holds a RA degree from the University of Groningen and has completed education at Nyenrode Business University and Hanzehogeschool Groningen.
