Gerrit van Buggenhout

Gerrit Van Buggenhout possesses extensive experience in packaging management, currently serving as the team lead for solutions packaging at Novartis since April 2019, overseeing packaging activities for eyedrops with a workforce of 200 across three shifts. Previously, Gerrit managed solutions packaging at Alcon, a Novartis division, leading a team of 150 in a 24/24 operational environment. Gerrit's career began in project engineering and project management roles, including significant contributions in designing water treatment plants and petrochemical vessels. Education includes a degree in electrical and electronic engineering from KIH De Naeyer and a secondary education focused on Latin and mathematics from HEMACO Dendermonde.
