Bart Hendriks is an accomplished executive in the field of pharmacology and oncology with extensive experience in leading clinical development and research teams. Currently serving as Executive Director of PK Sciences - Oncology at Novartis since July 2020, Bart previously held roles such as Clinical Pharmacology Lead and Global Early Development Lead at EMD Serono, where oversight of DNA damage repair programs was paramount. A former Senior Director at Merrimack, Bart played a crucial role in the development of the nanoparticle therapeutic ONIVYDE® and led innovative imaging strategies in clinical trials. Additional experience includes impactful positions at Pfizer and AstraZeneca, focusing on systems biology and signal transduction models. Bart holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
