Paul Decker

Paul Decker, MS, CIH, CSP, serves as the HSE Global Program Lead at Novartis since June 2000, where responsibilities include leading the Occupational Health and Safety Program and providing expertise for enterprise-wide operations. Previous roles at Novartis encompassed facilitating the Global HSE Strategy in the Americas, managing technical safety procedures, and establishing comprehensive EHS programs. Paul also contributed as an Occupational Hygienist and Associate Director, overseeing HSE management systems and compliance strategies. Prior experience includes working as a Safety Engineer at Ciba Geigy and serving as Assistant Safety Manager at the U.S. Military Academy, where Paul developed occupational safety programs and conducted inspections and risk assessments. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Occupational & Environmental Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health & Safety from Mercy University.
