Peter Ray

Peter Ray currently serves as the VP & Head of Portfolio Analytics at Novartis, beginning in November 2023, focusing on data-driven portfolio decision-making. As a Board Member of the Society of Decision Professionals since June 2023 and a Volunteer Professional Mentor at Menttium Corporation since September 2010, Peter has contributed to the development of mid-career professionals. Previous roles include Independent Consultant at Keshary Consulting, Head of Corporate Strategy/Chief of Staff to the CEO at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Executive Director of Corporate Strategy at Celgene Corporation, and various leadership positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Peter's earlier career includes work at Strategic Decisions Group and Mitsubishi Corporation. Peter holds an MBA in Global Management from Stanford University and a BA in Government/East Asian Studies from Harvard University, complemented by studies at Waseda University.
