Jim Hamilton

Jim Hamilton currently serves as the Operations Maintenance Manager at NovaSource Power Services, overseeing the daily operations of over 1.5GW of utility-scale photovoltaic power plants in Canada and the USA since April 2021. Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Regional Manager at First Solar Development Canada from April 2011 to May 2021, where responsibilities included managing the operation and maintenance of 250MW of solar utility power plants across Canada. Jim's career commenced as a Construction Maintenance Electrician with IBEW Local 530 from January 2002 to January 2011. Jim holds a degree in Electrical Engineering Technician from Fanshawe College and is also certified as a Master Electrician by the Ontario College of Trades.
