Predrag Filipovic

Predrag Filipovic has over 28 years of professional experience. Predrag started their career in 1993 as a Principal Engineer at Kulicke and Soffa. In 1997, they took on the role of Adjunct Professor at Drexel University. In 2000, they moved to Digital 5, Inc. as Vice President/GM/Director of R&D, where they concieved and implemented innovative solutions for emerging technologies. In 2003, they joined The Diffusion Group as a Senior Analyst, analyzing and publishing in-depth reports on video over IP and home networking marketing. Predrag then moved to Agora Creative Solutions Inc. in 2004, where they served as President, Architect, Developer, directing end-to-end operations related to multimedia and communications over IP networks, embedded design and programming, multi-channel wireless communication systems, IoT testbed, and hard-real-time control systems. In 2021, they joined NovaSparks as Application Engineering Director and Application Engineer Manager.

Predrag Filipovic has a long and varied educational history. Predrag obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Belgrade from 1985 to 1990. Predrag then went on to Drexel University for their M.S. in ECE from 1991 to 1994. Predrag continued their studies at Drexel University, earning their Ph.D. in ECE - System Control from 1994 to 1998. In 1997 and 1998, they also completed an audit in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2018, they earned Certificates in Blockchain for Business and Hyperledger Foundation Development from IBM & Linux Foundation. Additionally, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021 and a Hyperledger, Blockchain certification from IBM, Linux Foundation.
