Ali Ardakani

Ali Ardakani has a diverse and extensive work experience in the life science and biotech industry. In 2015, they founded Novateur Ventures Inc., where they served as the Founder and Managing Director. Novateur Ventures focuses on advancing life science projects and has successfully taken companies from inception to IPO and M&A.

In 2018, they co-founded and became the CEO of Optigo Biotherapeutics, a biotech company. Ali also served as the Senior Vice President Device & Business Development at Beyond Air™ from 2015 to 2019, where they led product and business development efforts and played a key role in the company's growth and development.

Additionally, Ardakani has held various leadership roles in organizations such as Life Sciences BC, where they served as Chair and Vice Chair, and Clairvoyant Therapeutics Inc., where they worked as a Corporate Development Advisor. Ali has also been involved in initiatives supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, including roles at Creative Destruction Lab and Innovate Calgary.

Ali Ardakani attended Handsworth Secondary from 1992 to 1994. Ali then pursued a degree in Economics & Sciences at The University of British Columbia from 1994 to 1999. In addition to their academic education, Ali obtained certifications in Advanced Open Water Diver from PADI in 2009 and INDs/NDAs/CTDs from CfPA - The Center for Professional Advancement in 2001.
