Dr. Henrietta Ukwu

Dr. Henrietta Ukwu has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Henrietta is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Regulatory Officer at Novavax Inc. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Regulatory and Quality Officer at Novavax Inc. from January 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Novavax, Dr. Ukwu worked at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) where they served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Regulatory Officer & Global Quality from April 2020 to December 2020. Dr. Henrietta also held positions as Senior Vice President, Global Head, Global Quality and Global Regulatory Affairs from June 2016 to April 2020, and as Senior Vice President, Head of Global Regulatory Affairs from January 2013 to June 2016.

Prior to their time at Otsuka, Dr. Ukwu worked at PPD as the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Regulatory Affairs from May 2010 to December 2012. Dr. Henrietta also held the position of Vice President , Global Regulatory Affairs at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals from October 2009 to April 2010, and as Vice President, Global Regulatory Affairs from September 2004 to October 2009.

Dr. Henrietta'scareer in the pharmaceutical industry began at Merck, where they served as Vice President and Head of Worldwide Regulatory Affairs Vaccine development from September 1992 to May 2004.

Overall, Dr. Henrietta Ukwu has a wealth of experience in regulatory affairs and quality management, making their a valuable asset to the organizations they have worked with.

Dr. Henrietta Ukwu completed their Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine from 1989 to 1991.
