Hellen Mekonnen

Hellen Mekonnen is an experienced quality control professional with a strong background in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as the Quality Control Manager for Critical Reagents at Novavax since November 2024, Hellen previously held key positions at NextCure, Inc., including Senior Manager QC and QC Manager, from May 2022 to November 2024. Hellen's career also includes roles at Emergent BioSolutions, MedImmune, Unilife Corporation, Teleflex, Berry Plastics Corporation, and K&L Plating Company Inc., showcasing a progressive development in quality control expertise. Hellen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
